From youtube sensation Jeffree Star to British
supermodel Jourdan Dunn, they are
all fans of the Iconic London Illuminator.
Dubbed as “liquid gold”,
this illuminator has been known to be sold out in 10 minutes!
So why is everyone
raving on about this illuminator and will it make you shine like a goddess???
I ordered mine directly
from the Iconic London website, but you can also purchase it from Harvey Nichols.
Priced at £29.99, the illuminator comes in 3 shades, Original, Shine and Glow. I
got mine in Original.
The product comes in a
glass bottle with a pipette for easy distribution and application. You can
apply the illuminator either with your fingers or a damp beauty blender/sponge.
You can also opt to use a brush.
I apply the drops on
the high points of my face, concentrating the product on the tops of my cheeks
and blend with a mini damp beauty blender.
When blended, the
product gives your skin a beautiful natural glow, making your skin radiate from
within. For a more intense shine, you can either apply more of the drops or
go over it with a powder highlight.
The good thing about
this product is that it goes on smoothly over your skin and doesn’t feel tacky.
Nor does it move your foundation. I apply this, over powder and it doesn’t
disturb my base.
The downside; however,
it is only a miniscule downside, (in my opinion!); for those who love a
highlight that you can see from space, the illuminator on its own, will not enough. You will need to go over it with a powder highlight, if you want that
super intense glow.
The concentrated drops have
multi-use. Not only can you use this on your face but also on your body, giving
you sexy summer shimmer look.
You can also mix it
with your face cream, primer and foundation; giving your skin an extra boost of
that summer glow!
So, what’s the verdict? Is this illuminator worth the hype?!?!
Yes, it is! A product
worth investing in, you’ll soon find that this becomes a staple in your make up
bag. The illuminator gives your skin a beautiful iridescence glow with lasting
power!
